Appointments

Both face-to-face and televideo consultations are conducted at the clinic. It is preferred that initial consultations are face-to-face. However, in certain circumstances you may want to discuss televideo appointment. Please contact the clinic to book and discuss the options for consultation.

What you need before making an appointment:

  • A valid referral

  • Medicare card details

  • Best contact details and email address. A registration form will be sent to you. If you don't have an email address, you can fill this out on the day of your appointment.

  • Advise us as to whether an Interpretor is required so we can book one            .           

What you need to have available at your appointment:

  • Referral letter

  • Completed registration form. If you haven't had time to complete it, it can be completed upon arrival at the clinic.

  • Any recent blood test results 

  • Recent relevant imaging with reports if available eg. Renal tract ultrasound

  • A list of your current medications, both prescribed and non-prescribed. If a Webster pack is used, this can be brought along. In some cases, it may be easier to bring your medications to your appointment for clarification

  • Any recent discharge summaries.

Please arrive about 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. 

Let us know if you are running late by calling the clinic prior to your appointment time.

Whenever possible, please advise the clinic of an appointment cancellation at least 24 hours prior to your appointment time. 

​

You will not be charged a fee for cancellation.

​

In some circumstances, a telehealth consultation may be offered to allow for discussion results or important changes to management.

​

If non-attendance is frequent, a new referral from your GP may be required before another appointment can be made.
